Thanks for that Mr GSL... Good to see that the factory pads are up there... For the record Mitsubishi quote $149 for a front set + $70 labour...
If the HPX is comparable to the factory set I might go them as I've never been a kamikaze braker...

Great service from Greg as others have said - but don't get the HPX IMO.
They are OK if ur just driving around the city (bugger all dust) but they won't cope with the Pac HWY - Isn't that where you drive?
Ring around on that mitsi price - I was quoted $125 for OEM and ended up getting them for trade @ $113. Greg says the Remsa is equivelent to the OEM pads. Haven't tried the A1rms myself.
hmmmmmmm [insert picture of faux's minding ticking over]
Yes, the old pac is my stomping ground but I've never considered myself a big braker...
Will the A1RMs last as long as the OEMs? Fuck, I've only done 50k... Maybe I do brake harder than I think...
A1rms cost bugger all I'm half way thru my 3rd set of pass at just over 100k kms. I want some a1rms I'm sick of my eligs no bite at all lol

I'd suggest buying the Remsa pads if you are after a stock item replacement for less mate, the Remsa's are what I'll be buying for the life of my car. I tried HPX after using the stock pads and while they appeared to produce less dust, I found them to also have less initial bite and felt worse than the stockies as a result, however I did change to slotted rotors when I swapped pads so it's not a completely fair comparison.
Afterwards I tried some Remsa pads (also on the slotted rotors) supplied by Greg and found them to provide much better initial bite, similar to the stock pads. As for heat, after driving through the hills with Rockstar he commented that he was feeling brake fad with the stock pads, and yet my Remsa's were giving me little to no fade, so they appear to perform at least as well as the stock pads heat wise.
That's been my experience anyway. I'd suggest that if you are after street performance go with the Remsa pads as they perform extremely well, and while the A1RM provide better grip when hot, they will also wear your rotors faster.
