OK, got my first chance to shred the KU36s today during an evo cruise... (cruise lol)
Problem is they were on the 17" rims...
The good: Sticky, and the 17" 45 series rolling diameter made acceleration a breeze as they take much more power to spin up violently...
The Bad: Tyres rub the inner guard at lock and also scrub out the inner guard when going over anything that looks like a bump in the road and when hard cornering with anything that looks like a bump in the road... Also such a big tyre felt wallowy even though it still gripped...
I don't think Kumho do 40 series on the 17" so my next set on these 17s will not be KU36s... I'll throw some daily drivers on there and get the KU36s for the 16s...
So when the next batch of KU36s come in I still want a set...
PS: How the fuck do some of you roll on 17s and lowered?
if it feels wallowy try some more tyre pressure, you will feel more bumps thou
Im going to ring taleb and find out how long the wait is
I'm so JDM i shit anime
Trevski says: I had JDM breakfast
I got 39 front and 38 rear cold pressure atm... Won't be a big issue when I get the KU36s on the 17s and these 17s go back to daily hoops...
Even on the 16's you'll find them a little more 'wallowy' than the ad07's, however they also control wheel spin much better than the ad07's. I personally find them a perfect compromise between noise, comfort, traction, cornering, and most importantly priceI also run about 40 psi front, 38psi rear, so pretty similar to your current numbers.

Not sure if this link has been posted before... A comparison of the Bridgestone Potenza RE-11, Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec, Kumho Ecsta XS and Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08...
Understandably the Kumho trailed the others but for the price its still hard to pass up as a daily tyre... Also produced the highest cornering G-Force...
